A tough fight is expected between 2.Corte mateda unknown bred, in good condition, working well, good 2nd last time over a mile &  4.NRI blaze, full brother to maximum glamour, twice second over 7f & 8f respectively moving well on tracks.  8.Whistledown, half sister to well bred Leonardo, last two runs may be ignored, caught the eye on latest tracks, will be a surprise package.

Class b race, 2,4,5,6,7,9 have no chance. 1.Desert sultan last few runs in higher class may be ignored, now running on one class down, good at tracks, can win the race. & 3.Master touch are running one class down, no recent track, on jockey on jockey merits considered can place. 8.Silver arrow ran twice 3rd in the same class will be in fighting line, can figure on board.

Golden are the place prospects. 6. Always special ran good 4th Normui, good on tracks will not go down with out a fight.

8.Bestie is half sister to speedy Magiletto, ran 2nd Zuza on debut, subsequently failed due to technical reasons, moving attractively on track, should be right there in top 3.

1. Beverly is an average bred, won the race on debut against weak field, may be bit difficult this time out.

2.Don'tblockmyway is a full sister to impressive anne, ran 2nd on debut and subsequently won the race on 2nd attempt. Working good on tracks may do well.

Friday Bangalore race choice

Races after derby usually the cards will be framed to entertain second grade trainers/owners by the club. Except for 3y olds and classic races if any left over, importance will be given to the above mentioned. So concentrate on them rather than top rated trainer & owners. The card framed for Friday looks like what I mentioned above. So be cautious

 

1 race: Class b race to start with. Usually I don't prefer class b races. 'Turkoman' in the fray looks some what better of the lot take an each way chance for most curious punters.

Nothing much to explain, small field of 4 horses. A straight fight between the 4y 2.Rock bank & 3.Torobravo later having won by 5 lengths in Pongal million race over identical distance as a fav. Now running on promotion. Tracking good. Rock bank was good 3rd over identical distance in its last run in same class but now running with 5.5 kg penalty. Earlier winner of Managing committee trophy over 9f race

Again a small field of 5 horses running in class I. Jockey P Trever saddled Vivaldo after winning class 2 race now running in class 1 race. Forseti was beaten by Top rated Imperial blue. Now Imperial blue is good on timing compared to others but the only point is saddled with apprentice jockey Pavan, if can handled carefully can win otherwise Vivado wins the race.

The century valentine's million race for 3y old maiden horses. Except for 4,7,8  remaining all are good on blood lines. 3 & 10 are the first timers. 1,2,5,6,9 have run benefits. Having good 2nd to Magnetar in its debut run over 6f,  Ravishing beauty(full sister to She can), with latest impressive tracks is looking good to clear it's maiden over 7f now. First timer Xantha (half sister to well bred Something royal & Stock bridge,) tracking good should do better on debut itself. Though having run benefit 5 & 6 are average on blood lines. 2 is gelded half brother to English bay a first timer needs a run. 1. Lightning blitz is half brother to Eclipse award an average bred, ran good 3rd over 7f in its last run. In conclusion I feel 9.Ravishing beauty should fight out with the first timer well bred 10.Xantha to the prime spot.
