Pesi Shroff trained Duke Of Tuscany is fancied to win The Indian Champion Cup (Grade I), a race for four year old and above races, to be held at Kolkata on Friday

1.Race:7.Happy Morning, 12.Diamond Gold, 8.Horus The Great 

An open race. Happy Morning returns to sprint races and holds a slight edge over Diamond Gold, who is still a maiden, provided has a luck to win at its 29th start this time 

2 race:3.Rambha,1.Silver Dream

The above two contenders are closely matched. Rambha, having already beaten Silver Dream on debut, can be strongly considered to win.

3 race:3.Immortal Beauty, 2.Brave Majesty, 6.Wonderful 

(No whip race)
Immortal Beauty has been more consistent than the others and can be fancied to win here.  An each way suggested if odds are more for comfort. Brave Majesty could trouble if he comes out with a good jump from gates.

4 race:6.Mindful,7.Cigar Galaxy, 3.Galway Girl

Very tough race, hope Bangalore challenger Mindful holds a slight edge over last time winner Cigar Galaxy who will not go down with out a fight.

5 race:3.Zarak, 4.Whirlwind, 2.Ruling Star 

After finishing runnerup in his last two starts, Zarak gets a good opportunity to register his second success in this season. The second named will not go down with out a fight

6 race:3.Duke Of Tuscany, 7.Trakila, 4.Golden Kingdom.

Shroff trained top rated Duke Of Tuscany was given an easy ride in the mile race at the beginning of the season and, now returning to ten furlongs, has a strong chance of bagging this Group race, the feature event of the day

7 race:7.Seina ,2.Keitaro ,3.Jimmy Bee 

(No whip race)

Having put performance in group race last time, Sienna, the West Indian challenger has a slight edge over the local contenders 4y Kietaro & 5y old Jim my bee ( a sure for place)

Wednesday Mumbai races

1 race:2. Tropical paradise, 1.Ensky

Class b race, none of them are in form, after an easy run last time Tropical paradise is now running in lower class, with jockey David Allan astride should win here this time. Ensky 4th to All for love last time may be market fancied but I don't prefer here for win, may at best figure on board.

2 race:10.Bright button,7.Her charge, 1.Cardoc, 4. Abhayanker 

All most all the runners are maiden 4y running in class 4. Tough to pick the clear winner. However picked up the above four contenders as prime. I personally prefer the first named having weight advantage. Second named was good third last time, tracking good bears watching, certainly a place prospect 

3 race:6.Shaandar, 3.Magneta, 5.Cavier queen

3y old juveniles on blood lines alone cannot decide. Race time odds only should indicate the winner. However first named is well bred half brother to Kings ransom and full brother to Kings gambit, shoud do well on debut. Later two are also well bred may fight out.

4 race:1.El moran, 2.New Yorker, 5.Flashman

The first named ran 4th last time over 6f trip, earlier could not get a room over the same trip ran 3rd, now running over 5f which is its ideal trip if apprentice jockey handles carefully, can win here 

5 race: 7.Allez L' Etoile,            6. Brasilier 

More than half a dozen runners are in contention but on timing and previous performance picked up the above two. So expected a Tough Fight between the above two named. 

6 race:1.Chagall, 5.Fortunate son, 2.Ardhakan, 8.Eagle day

The above must be the front liners of which I personally prefer the first named who is running on demotion. The fourth named is from same stable Shroff may surprise.

7 race:11. Matisse, 5.Bishop, 7.Miracle of hanukha 1.Emperor roderic, 8. Shirsha 

More than half a dozen runners are in contention, very competitive field, picked up the above five main contenders. First named is excelling in latest tracks, hence preferred first. Both the stable mates Matisse & Bishop from Shroff ran in group races. Third named is a demotee with jockey Akshay Kumar in saddle may do well. Fourth named is a consistent performer ran with higher rated animals in good timing. Fifth named ran in good timing has a chance to upset.

8 race: 8.Baleno, 2.It's my way, 1.Chandrayan,4,Lord Murphy  

Class b race, Fight between the first named stable mates is expected former having the edge to win here, an each way suggested if odds are more for comfort. Lord Murphy may be market fancied but I don't prefer here for win, may at best figure on board

Sunday Mumbai races

1 race: *6.Enforcer*, 8.Eastern monarch, 7.Challenge accepted, 1.Bee magical 

The first two named are more or less equally matched on timing, thereby expected a tough fight Between them. Bee magical will surely figure on board. Enforcer is pleasing on tracks, if connections are intent then should win. Otherwise Eastern monarch will ahead of the first named. Bee magical a sure for place. Challenge accepted may surprise.

2 race:5.Turn and burn, 1.Miss American pie 

First named is excelling in latest tracks should do well with stable mate American pie(gamble may take place by connections.)

3 race: *4.Endurance*, 2.Break point 

Fight between the above named is expected former having the edge to win here 

4 race: *7.Gun fire*, 6.G. Valentino,2. Sequential , 4.Blue jet

3y olds maiden race, Gun fire looks better on blood lines and preparation, first named filly half sister to Gun smoke, an each way suggested if odds are more for comfort. G. Valentino, Sequential, Blue Jet are also good on blood lines.

5 race: *3.Invictor*, 4.Lorenzo, 6.Angelisa, 5.Silver dynamite

3y old maiden race, winner should emerge from the above named. First named is having run benefit and tracking good, should run a good race. Later two are from stable Shroff are also well bred. Lorenzo was close to first named on its last run may run again close to the winner.

6 race: *5.Bezalel* 12.American eagle, 7.Bohemian Raphsody, 4.Lucio

Fight between the first two named is expected. First named is impressive on latest tracks, should win. Bet of the day.

7 race:5.Chicagao chimes, 6.Royal champ

Class b race, demoted Chicago chimes looks some what better in this lowest class, with David Allan astride van win. Royal champ may run close.

Star marked are good for win provided gamble doesn't take place.
