SELECTIONS

1 race:THE NIJINSKY PLATE (DIV-I), Class:20 TO 45 (3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD (MAIDEN)) distance:1200M time:1:50 PM

1. Costa Mesa ,2. Wild star,5.Cee bees

Costa Mesa — consistent performer, good second to a superior horse last start — strong chance for maiden win with Akshay Kumar aboard.

2 race:THE SANDOWN PARK PLATE, Class:TERMS (3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD) distance:1400M time:2:25 PM

My choices:4.Knight regent, NRI tripple power,

Only two pay out race, N R I Triple Power's last run is best ignored— he looks a strong force in this race against trevor saddled Knight regent

3 race:THE S. S. CARDMASTER MEMORIAL TROPHY,Class:20 TO 45 (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD) distance 1400M tme:3:00 PM

My choices:3. Golden Unicorn, 4. Great Giver,1.Emperors charm,

The inconsistent performances of most contenders make this race difficult to predict.

4 race:THE KINNERASANI TROPHY, Class:40 TO 65 (3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD) distance:1200M time:3:35 PM

My choices:7. Ojas Maximus, 5.Sharanga, 6. Calabasas

Ojas Maximus has won his last two in effortless fashion and looks all set for the hattrick — unless Sharanga, with a positive jockey switch, pulls off a surprise.

5 race:THE GOLCONDA ST.LEGER (GR.2)
Class:TERMS (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD) distance:2800M time:4:10 PM

My choices:4.Gold empire, 1. Arrived, 6.Superstar

Tough Fight between The Western India challenger Arrived and Jockey Suraj astride Gold empire(both met with each other over the same distance thrice, and on one occasion Arrived was beaten by Gold empire) is expected  in the feature event. Only 2 pay out race

6 race:THE NIJINSKY PLATE (DIV-II),Class:20 TO 45 (3 YEARS OLD & UPWARD (MAIDEN)) distance:1200M time:4:45 PM

My choices:3.Farsiris, 6.Night whisper, 2.Aquatone

The race looks to be open, however on paper first named looks better of the rest to win.

Day's Best : Costa Mesa(1-2)
