Sauterday Mysore monsoon derby day race selections

Note:What I feel that Trainer Shroff is having eye on invitation rather than today's derby or other classic events, if he leave the stake money on today's classic events to others, concentrate on invitation and vice versa. Who takes The classic events is pre determined. It is between the owners/trainers, BOOKIES understanding. So do bet carefully or better stay away to bet in classic events

Mychoices:4.Sensuous, 8.Valor Queen, 3.Desert shield, 10.Wanganui

Following several impressive efforts in terms races, Sensuous makes her handicap debut today and holds a strong chance of victory under ace jockey Suraj Narredu.

2 race:THE COROMANDEL GROMOR JUVENILE MILLION, Class:TERMS (3 year old maidens only) 1200M 1:30 P.M.

My choices:1. Astraeus, 9.Mandalay, 5.Celtic goddess, 10. Mother's Gift

3y old maiden race, 16 runners are in field, very tough to pick a clear winner, however the first three mentioned are well bred first timers and also working good on tracks may fight out along with Mother's gift who has run experience. Winner should emerge from these, I personally prefer Astraeus who has been catching the eye in morning track trials, and he looks set to make a winning debut.

3 race:THE MYSORE MILLION, Class:20 TO 45 (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD) distance 1200M time:2:00 P.M.

My choices:3.Mriga, 7.Major sahab, 4.My solitaire, 1.Master way

With more than half a dozen runners more or less equally matched, this race is wide open, but Major sahab may fight out with Mriga.

4 race:THE ZAVARAY POONAWALLA SPRINTERS` CUP (GR.1),Class:TERMS (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD) distance 1200M time:2:30 P.M.

Absorbing finish expected between three top sprinters. Money Bags — six straight easy wins — faces career toughest test in the Group I Sprinters' Cup.

5 race:THE ROYAL CALCUTTA TURF CLUB MILLION, Class:60-85, distance:1200M time:3:10PM

My choices:1.Sicyon, 14. Storm Majesty, 16.Eagle eye, 7. Flight On

Another race in which multiple contenders enter the reckoning. Sicyon,  having already proven his mettle at the top level, can be fancied ahead of the talented Storm Majesty, who makes her handicap debut.

6 race:THE ZAVARAY S POONAWALLA MYSORE DERBY 2026 (GR.1)
Class:TERMS (3 years old only) distance:2000M time:3:40 P.M.

My choices:5.Stud poker,10. Royal Legacy, 2.Black Irish, 8.Madante

Over half a dozen talented contenders are expected to mount a stiff challenge in the Mysore derby. The two top rated may fight out for prime spot

7 race:THE ZAVARAY POONAWALLA STAYERS` CUP (GR.1),Class:TERMS (4 YEARS OLD & UPWARD) distance 3000M time:4:20 P.M.

My choices:2. Dyf ,5. Red Bishop

DYF lost to the superior Zucaaro in Hyderabad — and she holds a slender edge over Red bishop

8 race:THE HYDERABAD RACE CLUB MILLION, Class:40 TO 65 distance 1400M time:5:00 P.M.

My choices:2.Shining ways, 6.Crimson pirate, 7.Refined aggression

This is another wide open race, however the first named has slight edge over the Mumbai challenger Crimson Pirate who has won his last two in more comfortable fashion.

Day's Best : Sensuous(1-4)

Good Bets :

Astraeus(2-1)

Shining ways(8-2)
